David has been working "Austin hours" a few mornings a week, which means that he is here until lunchtime (without working), goes into work until 6pm or so and then works a few hours at home in the evening. This has allowed us to do more sight-seeing with the girls and to do some fun things with Summer that would otherwise be difficult with Samantha. Summer is quite proud of this new setup and extra attention.

Last week, Summer and I visited the Grenoble Art Museum, where she led me around, enjoying various works by Chagall and Matisse. We then took a ride up in Les Oeufs (small, egg-shaped cable cars), which took us up to the Bastille. It was cold and windy, so we stayed up a few minutes, enjoyed the view, and rode the eggs back down the mountain. We're hoping to do this kind of thing at least twice a week.
